Our Lives and Loves

Stratford-upon-Avon

June 29th, 2010 Posted in Family, Homeschooling, Travels

Our very last day in England was spent walking the streets of Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of English playwright William Shakespeare. Sadly, the entire town is a tourist trap. However, one of the quieter places to visit is the cathedral where his body lies.

    Pete and Diana,

It looks like you’ve had an interesting time out there. I’m contemplating going to the Netherlands this summer, specifically to learn Dutch. We’re debating if we should/can take the whole family. Did you have personal contacts that you solely relied on, or is there some sort of a network out there that would be help me “connect the dots,” I’d value any input you might have on this.
