Crafting Weekend

As many of you know I spend a fair bit of my spare time crafting.  Whether it be cardmaking, scrapbooking, or quilting I like to make something every day (it doesn’t happen every day unfortunately).  I had to opportunity to demonstrate some paper crafting techniques to Els Drijfhout and her daughters Marianne and Ineke.  We sent the boys off for the day to the Drijfout home where they spent some time at a Falconry.

The ladies arrived for lunch and after filling up were ready to craft.  We made some paper cake pieces, cards using the brayer technique, and a card of their own choice.

We had a wonderful girl weekend.  We met up with our men and boys at church the next morning.
