Canadian Thanksgiving–Better Late than Never

October 30th, 2009 Posted in Family, Travels

We enjoyed the company of Bristol, UK Canadians, the Beldmans, for a weekend to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving.  We met up with the Beldman family at Packwood House on Saturday morning and enjoyed a lovely walk through and around the grounds of this 16th century Tudor style home.

The extremely trimmed yews were very spectacular.  I was beginning to rethink the ones we have in the front of our Hamilton bungalo.  Somehow they don’t seem as majectic as the ones here–maybe sheer size and age has something to do with it.

Hannah and Leah particularly enjoyed each other’s company and were hardly ever out of each other’s sight.

With good company, good food, and good chats I’d say we have much to be thankful for.
